This is Nerd \u2013 a fan of useful tools for home DIY projects. This time I tested a shipment from China \u2013 model <strong>SH402<\/strong>, a four-line sensor with an LCD display that detects wooden beams, metal pipes, reinforcements and live voltage in the wall. Below is my review, rating and recommendations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-spacer stk-block-spacer stk--no-padding stk-block stk-caf3d96\" data-block-id=\"caf3d96\"><style>.stk-caf3d96 {height:25px !important;}<\/style><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"tehnicne-lastnosti-in-funkcije\">Technical features and functions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Detection modes<\/strong>: 5-in-1 system \u2013 detection <strong>read<\/strong>, <strong>metal pipes\/rebars<\/strong>, <strong>voltage wires (AC)<\/strong>, plus <em>center edge<\/em> locating in <em>deep-modo<\/em> for thicker walls. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Screen<\/strong>: Green LCD with backlight \u2013 displays mode, depth (e.g. \u00bd\u201d, 1\u201d, 1.5\u201d, metal up to 60 mm), and visual\/beep alerts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Power supply<\/strong>: one 9 V battery (6F22), not included; consumption is low - sufficient for several hours of operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Construction<\/strong>: PC\/ABS plastic housing (~170 g), ergonomic grip, compact dimensions 17\u00d77\u00d73.5 cm. Automatic calibration includes automatic reset when moving. The display is readable even in low light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-spacer stk-block-spacer stk--no-padding stk-block stk-945aa5e\" data-block-id=\"945aa5e\"><style>.stk-945aa5e {height:25px !important;}<\/style><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"zaznava-tramovja-in-kovine\">Beam and metal detection<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>On drywall, stud-mode quickly shows the edge and center of a stud up to a depth of 38 mm, while deep-mode shows up to 50 mm. have laboratory-proven accuracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sensitivity to gaps or filler in the wall<\/strong> \u2013 some internal structures may cause false positives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Not
