Technical features – what I discovered during the test
Laser power and precision
True 10 W optical laser module (not just apparent power) enables engraving with precision 0,01 mmThis means you can engrave complex shapes or details with high quality. The laser spot is extremely small — approximately 0,08 × 0,06 mm, which contributes to the sharpness of the works.
Speed and stability of movement
Cutting speed up to 30,000 mm/min (or 500 mm/s!), with high positional accuracy up to 0,001 mmIndustrial guides provide more stable operation than conventional casters.
Automatic air assist
The built-in, quiet (under 50 dB) air system effectively removes smoke and ash, preventing yellowing of exposed materials.
Large work surface
Work is underway on the format 420 × 400 mmIf the material exceeds these dimensions, it allows for an “infinite” slot on the Y axis, which is great for long grooves or labels.
Secure screen and advanced protection
The device has a safety lock, an emergency stop button, automatic shutdown upon movement or tilt of 15°, and a fire sensor that triggers an alarm.
Modular design
Mostly pre-assembled, the aluminum frame and reasonably prepared elements allow for quick setup — a truly one-minute setup.
Software compatibility
It works both with free LaserGRBL as well as with paid LightBurn. Supports USB ports, Wi-Fi app and TF card.
Material versatility
It engraves or cuts a variety of materials: wood, acrylic, leather, paper, bamboo, thin metals, PCBs, anodized aluminum and more. If you didn't know what's possible, now you do.

The Nerd Experience – What a leap in quality
Installation and transport
Despite the metal frame (6.5 kg), setup is quick and easy. The beveled protective glass and casing give the device a premium feel.
Operation
Fast operation, virtually noiseless thanks to the silent air assist system — it's like listening to it whisper, not scream.
Engraving result
The triangular pixels on the wooden board are clean, the edges are finely carved. When I tried to engrave a fine logo on plastic, I didn't have the right settings, but it still looked professional.
Safe use
Safety features like an emergency stop button or a fire detector reassure me that this machine is also suitable for a parent's workshop (without worrying about fires).
Small weaknesses
No audible notification at the end of the work process — The device operates silently.
Suitable for flat surfaces — for 3D shapes, you need to find another engraver.

Who do I recommend it to?
A great choice for:
home creators, it comes as no surprise that the device can engrave laser reliefs, logos, personalized gifts,
small workshops or design studios where safety and a premium feel are both important,
DIY enthusiasts who want a serious laser with good equipment from the start.
Not ideal for:
users who need large format laser engraving or for large series because it does not have automatic filling,
professional industrial series where motorized 4D control is required.
those who need ultra-quiet printing or a laser for test control – it is quiet, but not inaudible.
