Nerd Test: F2400 + SP200 Portable Solar Power Kit – 2 kWh LiFePO₄, 2,400 W Inverter, 2×200 W Solar Panel

Hi! This is Piflar – a fan of reliable and strong things off-grid power supplyThis time I tried F2400 with the associated SP200 foldable solar panels. Below is my review, which includes real-world measurements and my perceptions

Specifications and performance

Battery: 2,048 Wh LiFePO₄ – with long life (over 3,500 charges)

Inverter: continuous power 2,400 W (peak up to 4,600 W) – suitable for cooker, refrigerator, drill, etc.

Entrances: AC (1 100 W max), solar (~500 W max), Carmobile connection; AC + Solar combination up to 1 600 W

Charging time: AC = 2 h, solar = ~4 h, AC + solar = 1,5 h

Exits: 3× Schuko, 3× USB‑C (one 100 W PD), 2× USB‑A (QC 18 W), 4× DC (including RV XT60 12 V/25 A)

Panel SP200: Lightweight ~5.3 kg when folded, efficiency approx. 23.4% monocrystalline cell, resistant ETFE coating

My practical experience

Use and charging

I tested the combination of solar panels and solar energy: in clear weather, I charged the unit to 80% in just under 1.5 hours. The built-in input adjustment knob and vented fan work very intuitively.

Full load

I was running a 1,400W electric grill – The unit drained in about 1:50 hours, at ~1,730Wh of consumption.

Portability and build

Weighing ~22 kg, it is on the verge of being portable – but the handles and cable compartment make short transport easier. The housing is robust and resistant to light moisture – suitable for camping or RV use.

Advantages

High capacity 2,048 Wh + 2,400 W inverter – for most home appliances

Fast charging with AC and sun (up to 1.5 hours)

Extensive range of outputs, including USB‑C 100W for laptops

Smart protection: gumb za vhod, sprednje rubber plug zaščite, UPS način (<8 ms)

Panel SP200: compact, efficient design (23% efficiency) and scratch-resistant

Disadvantages and limitations

Heavy (~22 kg): not ideal for everyday carry

No battery expansion option – ni modular system

Screen is a basic LCD without high-quality graphics

No mobile app for remote control – all settings via the unit itself

Evaluation by criteria
