When I first held it in my hands FPV Plus Freestyle, I was a little skeptical. So light, but it's supposed to be freestyle drone? But after the first flight I realized – the manufacturer packed the devil into a featherweight chassis. And since I – the Nerd – am the kind of person who dissects things down to the last chip, I’ll tell you how this little FPV beast performs in the real world.
Flight capabilities
System HDZero provides a crystal clear picture without lag - perfect for flying in an environment with many obstacles or on a competition track. It flies stably, responsively, with exceptional responsiveness to acceleration. Once you get used to the sensitivity of the controls, you start to really enjoy it.
Construction
The Freestyle drone is made of durable charcoal fire and reinforced plastic housing. I've smashed it into a tree a few times (on purpose, for testing, of course 😏), but it survived without any serious damage. The propellers are quick to change, the battery system is cleverly integrated, and the whole thing is very well balanced.
FPV goggles & station
HDZero FPV goggles they are light and comfortable – the image is surprisingly clear even at distances.
Radiomaster TX12 Mark II It is a serious workstation that you can use for many other projects. Responsive, ergonomic, without delays in operation.
Autonomy
With two attached 1S 450mAh LiPo batteries you get about 3 to 4 minutes of actual flight. Realistically – this is quite enough for freestyle parkour or urban flights. But I recommend that you immediately buy at least 4 extra batteries.
